20.40    William Computers visited the Minx at 12.30, to assist her technological projects; and Steven the Classic Cove c. 13.05 to discuss future plasterwork.

Preparing MinxLunch and off to Worcester for a hot date. First visit: to the Chocolate Deli

… and onto the cinema.

Home for supper. Into the Cellar for e-flurrying and various arisings.

An enquiry from a respected person: Would you be at all interested in being a guest artist/coming to talk about your music & guitar sound at a University Masterclass or equivalent in 2014? We could design it around any aspect of your music career you feel passionate about.

This seems entirely reasonable, even likely to attract my support and involvement. From the reply…

in the past, i've given this approach a try on several occasions, hoping to support the person generous enough to present the invitation.
it has never been successful.
i do not have a voice for england!

and i have no passion for any aspect of my professional life!
one word to characterise it: wretched.
my continuing advice to young aspirant musicians is that they avoid the life of the professional musician.

the Guitar Circle undertaking is, however, an entirely different proposition.
but it's no use me turning up and talking about it.
the proper response is to attend a course.

so gratefully, and respectfully, i decline.

The only context where it seems I might be useful is that of The Guitar Circle .

Some questions
:: Posted by Christophecoutant on October 10, 2013
I’m just wondering:
- What will be the content of the book Mr Robert Fripp is on his way to publish: are any scores to be included or not ?
Anyway, I’m just waiting for it.

We are now into the Fourth Draft, looking at having a Final Draft approved by 21st. March, 2014. There are two versions planned: English/Spanish and English/Italian. Scores are not included, and I doubt that the book will be of any interest to those who have not attended a Guitar Craft / Guitar Circle course. These are the contents (now extended) from the Third Draft of The Guitar Circle…
